To Add Responsibilities to a Document

In AssetWise Document Control, you can assign people and specific roles and responsibilities to documents. For example, you can assign a person as "author" of the document.
  1. Open a document for which you want to assign a person to be responsible.
  2. Select the Responsibilities tab.
  3. From the Actions menu, select Add Responsibility.
    Tip: If there are no responsibilities assigned to this document, you can click Add Responsibility in the list area.
    The Add Responsibility dialog appears.
  4. Select a role from the Responsibility Type list.
  5. In the Organization box, begin entering the first three letters of the organization associated with this responsibility type. All organizations with that combination of letters appears, and you can select the appropriate organization.
    Tip: You can refine the list by entering additional characters, and also by using special characters.
  6. In the Person box, begin entering the first three letters of the person associated with this responsibility type. All persons with that combination of letters appears, and you can select the appropriate person.
    Tip: You can refine the list by entering additional characters, and also by using special characters.
The responsibility is added to the list.
